Steiner Ranch is a master-planned community on the peninsula between Lake Austin and Lake Travis in far northwest Austin, about 20-25 minutes from downtown via RM 620. It's one of the area's largest and most established Hill Country communities — built out mostly from the late 1980s through the 2010s — known for resort-style HOA amenities (multiple pools, 20+ miles of trails, a private Lake Club, tennis and pickleball) and Leander ISD schools. Homes here currently range from roughly the $600Ks for established single-family houses to $3M+ for lakeside estates.
